My name is Dawn Whittaker, I am the Vice President of The Maryland Society of Ghost Hunters. I first came involved with ghost hunting when I met my husband, Rodney , on our first date. He told me he was a ghosthunter and had his own group. Well, I didn't even know what a ghosthunter was, but I told him I'd give it a try, as long as he was there too :-). Since my first endeavor I have been hooked, for almost 5 years now. I am a Certified Paranormal Investigator, and help Rodney run the group. I've seen many very interesting places, and find this a fun and exciting hobby.
Hello My name is David Fritz, I work as an IT specialist for a company outside of Baltimore Md. When I am not working or doing any paranormal investigations, I am bowling, shooting pool, fishing, or relaxing at home watching TV. I got into paranormal investigating after a trip to Gettysburg PA, I was taken on a Ghost walk and was able to use the interesting equipment during the walk. I then purchased my first piece of equipment and then sent an email to Maryland Society of Ghost Hunters. I then was invited to do an investigation and I was hooked.
My name is Dale Shaw. I am an electrician working out of I.B.E.W. Local 26 in Lanham, MD. I got interested in the paranormal 4 or 5 years ago when I started watching a couple of ghost hunting shows that had just come out. That's all it took and I was hooked. I joined the Maryland Society of Ghost Hunters about a year ago. I went through their training program to get certified as a paranormal investigator and received my certification in November of 2011. My other interests include NASCAR, bowling, football, baseball, and fishing (in that order, lol).
My name is Jade. My interest in ghost activity began as a child, when my father gave me two books of local ghost stories of Monterey, CA which is where we lived at the time. My interest in ghosts soon expanded to include all forms of paranormal phenomenon and parapsychology. I had my first conscious ghost experience at 14. When I lived in San Antonio in 2003, I joined my first group. Since that time, I have been affiliated with other groups in TX, So. CA, No. VA, Western WA, and now MD. I joined the Maryland Society of Ghost Hunters in spring of 2011 after attending their DelMarVa Paranormal Conference at the Riverside Inn. Extrasensory abilities run in my family, and I have clairsentient abilities that I find useful on investigations. For me, paranormal investigating is a wonderful hobby; it blends history, research, gadgetry, travel, and other worldly thrills!
